Morehouse
Merino fleece for
hand spinners

Available in April and May
after spring shearing

Freshly shorn Morehouse Merino fleece

At Morehouse Farm, the sheep are shorn in mid-April. That's the
time to buy our freshly shorn Merino fleeces. They will be available
from mid-April to mid-May. Then the wool is packed into bales and
shipped off the farm for processing into yarn.

If you would like to receive advance notice or a reminder of our
annual shearing date, please check > Shearing Day Notification
or you can pre-order your fleece now for shipping in April.

Fleeces are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Fleece is sold "grease" weight, which means that it is sold
as it is shorn off the sheep, before being cleaned or washed.
