This Cap has all the qualities you want
in a ChemoCap: it's super soft, light
weight and yet warm.

Size: adult
Yarn: 1 skein of Morehouse Merino Lace
(225 yards per skein)
Needles: set of 8” double point #2 or #3
(use larger size if you knit tight
or knit American-style).
Gauge: 6.5 stitches per inch over stockinette stitch
Pattern: Cast on 112 stitches. Join and work 10 rounds
in rib patterns as follows: *knit 1, purl 1; repeat from *
to end of round. Next, knit a total of 32 rounds.
Decreases: *knit 9 stitches, knit 2 stitches together;
repeat from * to end of round (knit the 2 stitches
remaining at end of round on this and subsequent
decrease rounds). Knit 8 rounds. Next round: *knit 8,
knit 2 together; repeat from * to end of round. Knit 7
rounds. Next round: *knit 7, knit 2 together; repeat
from * to end of round. Knit 6 rounds. Next round:
*knit 6, knit 2 together; repeat from * to end of round.
Knit 5 rounds. Next round: *knit 5, knit 2 together;
repeat from * to end of round. Knit 4 rounds. Next
round: *knit 4, knit 2 together; repeat from * to end
of round. Knit 3 rounds. Next round: *knit 3, knit 2
together; repeat from * to end of round. Knit 2 rounds.
Next round: *knit 2, knit 2 together; repeat from * to
end of round. Knit 1 round. Next round: *knit 1, knit 2
together; repeat from * to end of round. Knit 1 round.
Next round: *knit 2 together; repeat from * to end of
round. Pull yarn through remaining stitches and darn in ends.
