Mondrian Jacket for Children PDF Pattern

Fashion on the farm – aka when Yves meets Margrit!

Sizes: children sizes 4, 6 & 8 (changes for larger sizes in parenthesis)

Yarn: 5 skeins of Morehouse Merino 3-Strand in 5 colors; 1 skein each in dark grey for thin stripes, geranium red, sunflower yellow, periwinkle blue and white (worsted weight, 145 yards per skein)

Needles: 24″ circular needle US #6 or #7 (size to obtain gauge); set of double-pointed for sleeves

Gauge: 5 stitches = 1 inch over stockinette stitch; 7 rows = 1 inch

Note:  yarn is figured tight for size 8; be sure to knit to gauge and keep tails to a minimum of 5″.  (Otherwise you’ll need to order more yarn.)
