WristWarmers
A MOREHOUSE MERINO ORIGINAL PATTERN
Sizes:
Adult small, medium, and large
(medium and large in parenthesis)
Yarn:
Worsted weight yarn, about 140 yards;
Sample shown is knit with Morehouse
Merino 3-Strand
Needles:
Set of double-pointed #4 or #5
(size to obtain gauge)
Gauge:
5 stitches = 1 inch
over stockinette stitch
(as illustrated); or all 1x1 rib
Cast on 40 (42/44) stitches.
Join and start pattern:
For rib version, work *knit 1, purl 1;
rep from * to end of round.
Work to desired length—
between 60 and 70 rounds.
Bind off very loosely.
Repeat for second wrist warmer.
For rib with stockinette stitch version (pictured),
work *knit 1, purl 1; rep from * to end of round.
Repeat this rib round for 30 rounds. Then
continue in stockinette stitch (knit each round)
for 25 to 30 rounds. Bind off very loosely.
Repeat for second wrist warmer.
