Pumpkin Cat Knitting Class – at Granby, CT Open Farm Day

Meet Beans the Cat.

It’s a project that lets knitters of all skill levels learn and practice the basics you’ll need for every other project:

• casting on
• knitting in the round
• increasing
• decreasing
• binding off
• ear shaping
• make your knitting curl (or not) – you choose your tail!

Your class meets in person, at Lost Acres Vineyard, 80 Lost Acres Road, North Granby, CT as part of Granby Open Farm Day!

Your class registration includes your yarn, needles, and pattern, as well as the instruction.

Children are welcome to take the class when accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class.  Knitting isn’t an age-defined activity, it’s more about the ability to sit and focus on what you’re learning and practicing.  A good measure:  if you can work on a puzzle continuously for half an hour, and successfully fitting a piece makes you want to find the next one, you’re probably ready for knitting!
