Knitting at the Sunflowers: Bonnie Isle Cowl

Did you know there’s a new hat designed every year for the Shetland Wool Week festival?

This year, we’ve made a cowl to match Linda Shearer’s beautiful seaside design!

This class is designed for those who are comfortable knitting in the round and want to learn or practice using two colors to make striking motifs.  Knit this cowl with us and you’ll have friends and complete strangers asking in awe where you got it.  Imagine their astonishment when you say “I made this!”

Better yet, bring a friend and absorb yourselves in knitting, something you will want to return to over and over.  What else do you do that’s relaxing AND productive at the same time?

We’ll learn or practice how to start a project in the round, make a smooth edge, knit a corrugated rib, and work with two colors at a time.  And best of all, this cowl is knit with our very own Morehouse Merino yarn!  Its amazing softness will have you asking ‘is this really wool’?

This class runs Saturday morning, August 13, from 10 and to noon.
Make the time for yourself, you deserve it!
