Knitting at the Sunflowers: Ram’s Horn Shawl Class

$45.00

We’re excited to host this knitting class outdoors in a beautiful pastoral setting in western Connecticut!

This class is designed for those who can knit and purl. If it’s been *ahem* a few years since you’ve picked up the needles, and feel like you want to start again, come join us.

We’ll practice knitting and purling, as well as basic increases and decreases, on a gorgeous shawl that you can wear year-round. And it’s knit with our very own Morehouse Merino yarn whose amazing softness will have you asking ‘is this really wool’?

This class runs Saturday morning, August 21, from 10:30am-12 pm.
You deserve to take time for yourself and enjoy learning something new!

This class is held at The Farm Woodbury, 281 Weekepeemee Road, Woodbury CT. (Yes! A road trip for us too 🙂
Click here for the location on Google Maps.

Your class registration fee includes:
– yarn

– instruction

As a bonus, you’ll also receive access to the Ram’s Horn Shawl Knitalong Course in the Morehouse Merino Flock, our online learning community.  The learning community course breaks the project down into small sections with video tutorials so that you know exactly how to do each step along the way and finish with confidence. Plus, you’ll have access for later when you decide to knit another one for a gift!

The Farm Woodbury is a second-generation family-owned farm located in Woodbury, CT.  Their rustic farm stand offers ornamental plants, vegetables, local meats and provisions and is home to the Sunflower Festival in August and the Corn Maze and Pumpkin Festival in the fall.  Bring the family and they can enjoy the sunflower festival while you’re in class!  Click here to learn more about the sunflower festival and purchase tickets.
