Whiskey Barrel Cowl PDF Pattern

This pattern is a great one to master the knit stitch, a little purling, and knitting in the round.  Knit with two strands at a time, the super soft and squishy variegated Morehouse Merino will give you a beautiful surprise.  Plus there’s a bonus pattern for a headband.

Size:  Cowl:  approximately 13″ wide by 12″ tall
Headband is approximately 9″ wide by 4″ tall and is easily modified for head size.

Yarn:  3 skeins of Morehouse Merino 2-ply sport OR 2-strand sport

The samples are shown in lily and three poplars.

Needles:
US #9 (5.5 mm) & US #10 (6.0 mm) circular needles,
16″ long for headband; 24″ long for cowl
